Landscape Architecture services were provided to the B15 Taringa, a new vibrant and contemporary multi-residential development in the rapidly developing suburb of Taringa, Brisbane.

The landscape design vision was to create a relaxed, cohesive and progressive series of private and communal spaces for residents. The landscape focused on providing a visually beautiful environment, accommodating each function, which created a place of leisure for residents. The selection, location and quantity of planting compliments and softens the contemporary built form. Across the site planting climbs upon the building, cascades over walls, and grows along screens and fences.

The design considered the climatic conditions to provide shade in summer and warmth in winter. The private courtyards became a sculptural garden setting and a place of intimacy for residents to enjoy.

The landscape planting palette is inspired by the southeast Queensland rainforest, creating a platform for colourful, native species to sing. The integration of sustainable passive irrigation and hardscape surfaces made of natural materials and textures created harmony in the space. We believe residents and visitors will be drawn outdoors, and importantly the client will see the value of each property within the development enhanced.
